Nagano (長野) 1998 OC- Ode To Joy Part 1 of 3 (小澤 征爾)

Back

These final three clips highlight the complete fourth movement of Beethoven's Symphony #9 in D Minor. Here is the first part of THREE of the final act of the Nagano 1998 Olympic Winter Games opening ceremony, with the 5 choruses at 5 different areas of the world. It is such a pain to divide this part like this. Here are the locations again: - Berlin, Germany; (ベルリン) - United Nations Headquarters (New York); (ニューヨーク) - Sydney, Australia; (シドニー) - Beijing, China; (北京) and, - Cape Point (near Cape Town) (ケープタウン), South Africa. Do not forget the "main concert group" at a prefectural concert hall, with famed conductor Seiji Ozawa (小澤 征爾) in Nagano itself.
