the "best" drumming in the world is also the least musical 99.9% of the time....good music is about groove...feel....and a stylistic identity...which travis has in plenty...playing with PERSONALITY counts more...i suggest you check their bank account if you need proof people don't give a holy hell how good a drummer is...as long as he's solid, and looks good...and screws a hot actress...that's LA...that's Show Biz....what could ANYONE do about THAT?

I didn't say he was bad. I never said that at all. But what I DID say is that people need to get off of his dick like VV that guy right below who thinks Travis is God when he's not. He's definitely a good drummer but it's stupid when people think that what he plays is the most difficult things in the world and he's the greatest ever. I'm not closed minded at all. And what conformity are you talking about? Pridgen won guitar center's drum off at age 9. Look up Cobus or Vadrum. They can groove.
