He's definitely not and has never been the best singer but the song itself is good.

I was there! Like a total knob i actually was on the loo when he started singing this, but i could hear it all. Got back in time to hear the audience go silent when he sang the verse that Buckely didn't cover. He sang this as the sun set behind the pyramid - amazing! Legendary!

True. Drifting off key isn't even such a bad thing really, as long as he pulls it off, which he does. Neil Young couldn't hold a note to save his life. He just warbles, but he's brilliant. And Van Morrison- well, I'd like to see him hit a steady beat. But similarly, he's brilliant. Just like Leonard Cohen.

I threw a pencil case at a girl the other day for saying, "Hey! That's that Rufus Wainnwright song!" -shakes fist- On a happier note, Leonard Cohen is coming to Perth February. =D I hate to hear myself saying it, but if it wasn't for that wretched accountant of his, he wouldn't be back on tour.
