This is my favorite song. I sing it to my daughters every night before bed. It never fails to bring tears of joy to their eyes. I look forward to singing it to my grandkids in a couple of decades.

Here, Jessie is a girl, but Jesse can also be a boy's name and my youngest son's name was Jesse he died 08/02/99 at 5yrs. old & it is very hard on any parent to lose a child especially the mother and she can't have anymore children like myself & divorced after 10yrs. of marriage on 09/08/00 just makes it even much harder on the mother than the father who got the divorce. I miss my little Jesse his birthday is 12/28/93. So when August & December comes around it is rough on me.

For some strange reason, this song popped into my head tonight. I loved it when it was on MTV way back when :D

Absolutely one the all time greatest Madonna songs, and it's unforgiveable that it wasn't promoted enough when it came out. I was in high school too during the awesome eighties when this album came out. I don't think the Western world knew nor will ever again know a happier time than the 80's.
