I do remember Ludvig getting somewhat annoyed in the "Red Hog" in Vienna. He gripped my leg and said, in German, "Gareth my friend, that cunt of a servant has ignored me for the last time". He then threw a full dish of macaroni cheese over the poor bloke. I said "Ludvig what is this foolishness". He glared at me for a moment but then the glare grew soft. He smiled, patted my head and said "they understand nothing; nothing at all" I paid for the drinks and the meal.
